I wanted to share 5 beautiful children’s books with you for the Amazon Spring Sale of 2025!
The Story Orchestra: In the Hall of the Mountain King: Press the note to hear Grieg’s music (Volume 7).
This is a delightfully fun book about Peer Gynt as a young boy who has an encounter with the Mountain King. This book, along with several others by Jessica Courtney-Tickle, are a story with music. Each page provides the opportunity to push a button that plays the song that is associated with the story. The pictures and cover are beautiful and this is a great way to introduce classic pieces to your children.
The only thing I was a little disappointed about is I felt the music pieces were too short, but it was still fun.

Adventures with Barefoot Critters
We’ve owned this book for a couple years in the board book and my daughter loves it. The water color paintings of the animals are detailed and fun to look at. The wording is nothing special as it just walks you through the Alphabet. But still a joyful book to look at for young ones!
The Complete Brambly Hedge
I have seen this book recommended all over especially in the homeschooling community. I dragged my feet in getting it but I finally did last month and I’m so glad I did. This is a collection of 8 Brambly Hedge tales that remind me Beatrice Potter’s books. The water color paintings of mice and their personified lives is delightful! Jill Barklem has created a whole world and the paintings show the details of that. This one was a hit with even my 7 and 5 year old sons.
My Dear Little One
This is Al Carraway’s book and one I also waited a long time to get. The story is cute and quite deep. The art is unique, my 2 year kept asking where the girl’s feet were, but it was cute! A much more whimsical book that has a beautiful message about our relationship with God.
Our Little Library Volume 2
I’ll admit we don’t have this book… yet. I’m wanting to get it for my youngest for her first birthday. They are just more beautiful than most modern baby books as the paintings are water colored. It looks classical and warm and I’m excited to read them.
Please don’t feel obligated to buy these books or that you’re missing out if you don’t have them. These are simply 5 books that I love and just want to share. If you find one that you think will be a good fit for you family, by all means, get it. Also check the buy used sections to see if you can get a Like New or Very Good for even better price!
